The 3rd Edition of Business Continuity Management (BCM) Training-cum-Certification Program:17th -18th December 2020

In the current scenario where everyone is struggling with the COVID-19 Pandemic, the demand for BCM & Crisis Management professionals has gone up; however, organizations are struggling to find skilled professionals to address this challenge.

To help the industry address this challenge, CII – Tata Communications Centre for Digital Transformation (CDT) organized a 2 Day Online Training course on Business Continuity Management (BCM) with Certification on 17 -18 December 2020.

The objective of the course was to strengthen the skills of business continuity/resiliency professionals working with Government Organizations, Companies (including MNCs and global organizations, large, medium, and small enterprises), and fast-growing start-ups. The program helped organizations better understand, anticipate, prepare and manage business continuity risks and crises with better-trained professionals.

Industry 4.0 is gathering momentum globally, and many companies are looking to adopt technologies such as data analytics and Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) to improve their manufacturing competitiveness. Companies racing ahead today with Industry 4.0 initiatives of every shape and size amid the proliferation of technological hype. No one wants to be left behind. Yet while everyone seems to be on the transformation trail, few appear certain of just where they're going. Pain-point technology solutions and siloed piloting programs proliferate. Businesses meander along the Industry 4.0 road with no clear high-tech strategy or view of the future. While the Industry 4.0 concept offers significant potential, the requirements for a successful transition go far beyond technology change.

To answer these problems on Industry 4.0 adoption, CII and TUV have come together with a Certified Assessor Training Programme. The program aims to develop Industry 4.0 assessment competency among the participants through practical exercises.

The session is conducted in three phases to enable the participants to apply learning to their organizational setting. The faculty will guide participants for the effective assessment focusing on assessment outcomes for business excellence. The participants can independently do self-assessment after the intensive course of 6 days.

Certification Program on Cyber Security - Online Master Classes | 21 - 22 January 2021

Cybersecurity is disruptive and game-changing. Cybersecurity threats to organizations as well as to individuals are growing exponentially. Highly publicized data breaches have caused huge financial as well as reputational losses to global corporations. Cyber-attacks also have the potential to impact the national security and the well-being of citizens. Threats are proliferating faster than our ability to respond to them which means that there is a great demand for cybersecurity experts. Forbes estimates that by 2020, there will be as many as 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity positions in the industry. Cybersecurity skill development is a national priority.

The CII – Tata Communications Centre for Digital Transformation (CDT) hosted the 12^th Edition of a Training course on Cyber Security with Certification.

This was useful to strengthen the skills of cybersecurity professionals working with private and government organizations (institutions, industry bodies, IT/ITeS companies, manufacturing units, individuals, academicians, students, college freshers, and Intelligence and/or emergency services), Corporations (including MNCs and global organizations, SMEs and start-ups) and NGOs.

The program helped organizations better understand and manage cybersecurity risks with better-trained professionals and industry practitioners. There will be a live demonstration of attack vectors during an exclusive attacker’s mindset session.
